If you have ever tried the free trial before, you will know that Skype Recorder will cut off the Skype call when it reach the max recording length. We have received many feedback to complain this problem and finally we make a progress on this. Since AthTek Skype Recorder v5.8, the trial limitation will not cut off the Skype call if you have reached the max recording length. But the recording length will still be less than 10 minutes. This means you can only record the first several minutes of a Skype call if you are using a trial version of Skype Recorder v5.8. Michael Hsu suggested us to improve the auto answer features. We are planning to make it more intelligent in the future, but not for now. Currently we can only add a prompt audio message after the Skype call has been getting through. Also you are allowed to set the auto record contact list in the new version. You can also adjust the recording length as well as the waiting period before auto recordings. Many users of Skype Recorder wants to know which is the best video encoder they can take on AthTek Skype Recorder. Actually it depends on your needs. Generally the higher recording quality means the larger recording file size. We select a quality video encoder for you and it can meet your needs in most of time.
